Biography
Chris Lamica has received a "Best Actor" award by the AMAWNYC Film Festival for his work in The Tempest, as well as nomination for "Best Love Scene" by the Miami Web Fest panel for his role in twenties: the series, and garnered international recognition for his work by being nominated for "Best Ensemble Cast" by a film festival in Bilbao, Spain. twenties: the series can be viewed on multiple platforms, including Amazon Prime subscription.
Chris can been seen in Season 11 of NCIS: Los Angeles, and initial plans are that he will return in Season 12. Additionally, he is in season three of the hit Fox show, Lucifer, as well as in the inaugural season of ABC network's The Rookie, and CBS' SW.A.T. He has been in several films, including his principle role in the feature film, Before I Sleep, with Chevy Chase and Bonnie Wright, as well as Madhouse Mecca, with two-time Golden Globe® nominee, David Keith. Prior to his formal training with renowned acting coach, Richard Waterhouse, Chris landed lead roles in Pack & Ship and Eddie Mumbles, as well as a supporting role in Dry Wake. Chris will be seen in the upcoming Jane & June original series, I Just Can't Life Right Now, the feature film, Sweet Caroline, produced by Mighty Aphrodite pictures, and a leading role in the feature Everything You Are.
Chris was raised in the quaint town of Averill Park, New York. He attended Johnson State College in Vermont, where he played basketball and fell in love with the Green Mountain State. He received his B.A. in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. Chris' first creative outlet was basketball. He took his unique style to such professional organizations as And 1 Streetball (as seen on ESPN), the Harlem Ambassadors, and the New York Red Riders of the American Basketball Association, where he was an All-Star.
Chris is an avid animal lover and enjoys writing, snowboarding, golfing, baseball, football, frolicking in the ocean, hiking, and is a road trip warrior, driving through 49 states.
